ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Fien (pronounced Feen).

My work as a therapist is shaped by both extensive clinical training and my own life experiences. Like many of my clients, and as a parent of two young children living abroad, my parenting journey wasn’t always easy. Becoming a mother felt like a deeply rewarding, yet very challenging experience.

I know how it feels to be overwhelmed by intense emotional reactions or behavioral challenges and to respond in a way that isn’t always how you’d wanted. Many parents come with a question I remember asking myself: “how can I do this differently than what I experienced?”. How to build connection and be present without punishments or power struggles when it doesn’t always come naturally. This desire led me to pursue deep personal exploration, clinical training in attachment and early childhood development, and continuous development to break intergenerational patterns.

I am committed to helping others find the support they need in this journey. I specialize in Child Play Therapy, Maternal Mental Health and parent support through Parent Coaching.

With extensive training in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Parent Coaching and Parent-Infant Psychoanalysis,
I bring over a decade of clinical experience supporting mothers, fathers, caregivers, and families through the challenges of parenting.

My approach is rooted in the belief in the power of connection and relationships; how they shape us, how they challenge us, and how they can heal us. Every person is unique and my work always begins with you; your story, your history, your needs. There is no single approach that works for every individual, child or family and I am committed to helping you find your own individualized path.
